Money don't buy you happiness. It buys you tickets to happiness.

Winter break was super duper awesome. Lets make this short because ive been writing 3 essays this week alone.

So I went to Florida and there goes my december allowance money. Sorry Malaysia taxpayers, I tried so well not to spend it that way but cant resist the temptation. So there were like 24 of us, I know we should probably rent a bus or something but we've got our self 2 sedans and 2 vans.
Went through Nashville and Atlanta before we arrived to Orlando. One night in Nashville and Georgia before moving to Orlando.

Nashville, albeit it was little bit chilly, its downtown was vintage and pretty musical. They called it music city. Hmm close enough i guess. Got myself a vintage looking green day poster dated 1994.

Atlanta, not so cold compared to the so called music city. Went to Coca-cola factory and got to know their secret ingredients. Apparently it was happiness. Well let just say they are not stupid enough to tell everybody what they put in coke. The most enjoyable part was free sodas so I took all the sodas untill it worth my $16 tix.

Orlando, where you can wear shorts and tees. The weather was like in Malaysia but lil bit cold sometimes. We spent like 5 days in total there. Universal Studios and Disney World are two main attractions here. Due to insufficient amount of dollars in my account and no hols allowance by JPA, I only managed to buy tix just for Universal Studios. Well, you might says what the hell on earth are you doing on disneyworld dude, but disney is my childhood memories. I'd go there for hell sure if i got the pennies.

Universal Studios was like 10 times bigger than genting and to my observation, it makes genting higland looks super lame. Seriously speaking dude. So worth the money. I wont write here how fantastic and awesome Universal Studios is because it would take a 3-page essay long to write it.

Miami was pretty hot. I mean both weather hot and people. The bitch was beautiful. I mean the beach. Yeah you can assume both of it. They are both true. Ever play Vice City? Well, Miami city looks pretty similar with it.

The Southernmost point in United States, that is Key West. Great place, great food and great people. Two big taco fish plus extra fries only for $7.99 and 5-lb cookies only for $4.99 and it was as big as your plate. Got $20 off for 'snorkeling' show from a random sexy-pregnant women (guess who?) but too tired to go there. Next time perhaps. *evil smile

The day after, I spent my new year eve in Destin, still in Florida though. Not so much fun frankly speaking. Celebrating in Bukit Bintang was way different. They dont have the RM2.50 snow spray and they went off pretty early. The best part of Destin was the beach. It was like the best beach I've ever went. Had a good time there too :)

So now come the sad part, going back home. We took a break for one night in New Orleans before heading to St.Louis. And last but not least, the best rootbeer ever in St.Louis. But I would say butterbeer in Hogwarts was way way tasty than this. Its a butterbeer of course. Well I guess I went to Hogwarts people.

There goes my winter break. New experience new friends. Well sometimes I ponder before I go to sleep, there would be no fun if we had 23 people because what makes this trip awesome was the people in it.

Americanize.

Some say you'll eventually lose grip on your native cultures once you settled down on other people countries. I would not totally agree with that. Being such a lucky person, to get a chance to study abroad, I'll never forget my cultures.

I've been to this land about 2 months long. Yes, American land. Where all the dreams can become true, where all the imaginations can become reality, where nothing is impossible where something something can become something something well at least the part of 'nothing is impossible' is sounds right to me. I dont know if they said America is the land of no impossible occurred. Its seem pretty same compare to Malaysia. Only the people I guess. They got fairer people at least. Not to say our people, I mean Malaysians are more superior in term of diversity than in here.

Yeah dream come true, really. Being in this land. New friends, new environment, new currency. But I would say the people here are more friendly than people in Malaysia. Strangers greet strangers. Its hard to see that in Malaysia, frankly speaking. And the drivers here are way more polite than in Malaysia. I'll let you guys know more about America later, if I wanna to. Sorry guys, time constraint haha I suppose to finish my 5 chapters of reading by tonight and its Material. Well guys hate reading stuff. Dont blame me.

I like the way americans speak by the way. Their accent are way more should I say 'concentrate' as 'pekat' in Malay. Okay enough with all the comparison stuff. Carried away from my English class. My bad. It was like when you guys say water, they say 'wother'. Yeah its quiet fun trying out new stuff andd you can easily bad-talk or go 'mengumpat' to them since they dont know Malay. This is unpropriate alif.

Okay so I've been here like 2 months and had been to Chicago like 2 times. Quite efficient I guess. Okay back to work alif. And wish me luck because I got 2 exams next week. So, wish me a big luck. Because I didnt yet to finish my revision.

Next Phase.

We learnt that every single process have numbers of phases. Same goes to our life. As we grow old, we are actually going through a process. And everybody knows that.

So i would be facing a new phase of my life real soon. Its a matter of time and i'd flying off to States.
Nervous, anxious, apprehensive, fussy and querulous. Thats what i feel.

I'd make this post short since im yet to finish my luggage. So many to consider and ponder when dealing with luggage.

I'll let the public-or my friends i supposed when my flight is decided by the JPA officer.
Till then, pray for me, my success my safety and my luck.

Malacca hols with boyfriends.

Well first thing first, I dont actually write a lot and dont expect me to write a new post every single day. Im lazy bump and if you're my friend, you should expected that. I'll write when I feel its a right time to write and I dont write when I feel lazy.

So this post is all about my trip to Malacca, the so called the historic city or bandaraya bersejarah with 7 of my boyfriends. I've been to Malacca so many times before but being on holiday with your friends was totally a different experience compare to being on hols with family. So for the girlfriends, pls dont get angry since we dont ask you to join our holiday mainly because this was a bachelors holiday. And without girls, things can really go smooth. Theres a certain exception for the previous statement. Dont get it wrong.

Back to the topic, the mastermind of this holiday was the future businessman, Mr Hazwan Ahmad. Since he and I are on break, so we decided to go for a short holiday in Malacca. Well shorts are nice and not to forget, sexy. If you get what I mean.

We took off from Bangi quite late and we reached our hotel at about 11pm. So after we checked-in, we went for a late supper at warung nearby. Everybody seemed tired and we dont go for any activities that night. While in the room, it was time for poker and texas holdem. So kids, dont try this at home. So we went off quite late.
Well that morning, as expected nobody was waking up early and the plan was postponed for an hour. Boys will always be boys. Despite that setback, we eventually went to Taman Buaya and got ourselves some nice pictures of crocodiles and other reptiles. What I can say about the Taman Buaya was the place is beautiful with all sort of replicas of Malaysia buildings and all the reptiles. And the ticket seller was so freakin hot. I wouldn't mind to buy the tickets for a second time. Or even a third time.

So for the rest of the day, we went on to Bandar Hilir for a visit of historical places. There were Stadhyus, St Paul Hill, A'Famosa and others. Then, we decided to walk-in to the museum with a replicas of Portuguese ship as its body. There, we meet a beautiful Iranian girl that we purposedly ask her help to take our picture. Well its a cheap trick but its working. One of my friends asked for her facebook, but she pretended like shes never heard about facebook. Damnn.
But afterall shes so beautiful. And its true.

So we went back to our hotel and gave ourselves some relaxing time before we go for a big dinner. The big dinner was at this place called Umbai where we had some of the best ikan bakar and other dishes. I have to admit, this was one of the best dinners I've encountered. After we finished with ikan bakar, we went for this amazing roti terbang stall just infront of the Henry Gurney. The man can actually make the dough of the roti canai flying like how a pizza makers throw theirs dough upward. We were like how the hell in earth. Everybody was amazed. But its only us that actually amazed by this man's capability. The rest of the stall looked normal and acted like there nothing amazing with this man.
And the rest of the night should be concluded by yourself. Im not gonna write it.

The next day we went to Port Dickson for some refreshment. I must admit, the last time I went PD was like 7 or 8 years ago. Now the place looks very nice and calm. I took sometime to relax, walking on the seaside while gently swept my beloved Ukulele and meditated as I dont think I'll get any chance to visit this soil again in the next 3 years.

Then I realized, friends do really make more than half of my life. I dont think I can live without them. Well maybe some of you might said, your girlfriend or boyfriend is your life, I cant live without my boyfriend, I cant live without my girlfriend and so on, but believe me, true friends will never leaves you.

Thank you to all my friends.

Lucky,UNITEN and Iowa States University of Science and Technology

I dont have any lady luck inside my pocket. But sometimes, I can say that Im a luckyy person. Not the most of time for sure. Luck to me is subjective. It can be define in many ways depending on the individual. But being lucky at the particular crucial events does really help me in many ways. How long a guy can be lucky without his lady luck?

Well, I should thank God for giving me the opportunity to actually get admitted to Iowa States University, at least I've been admitted to my own choice of safety school. The feeling of adrenalin, excitement circulating through my blood vessels when I received the parcel from Fedex few days ago. Yeah, maybe some of you guys dont even care about getting admitted to Iowa States, but this is like an assurance for my study progress to States, even if I rejected the offer and go to another school.
At least I dont need to worry about not being able to continue my study at States, since my sponsor put a requirement of getting any of the universities listed in their list to be able to go study in States.

Being frank, if let say I need to stay in Malaysia, I dont think I will studying in UNITEN. I would rather go for UTP or maybe Taylor.
The implementations of so called electric-prepaid-meter is just annoying, unacceptable, unreasonable (maybe if they say they wanted to promote a green earth, it may sound reasonable), unethical, unprofessional and generates money rater than professional.
It was the last thing that crossed my mind when the first time I entered UNITEN. I was like, we are in the university that partly supply electricity to Malaysians, and we will never pay for it. But, dont say the uncertainties unless you can guarantees it wont happen.
Now, living in the dark is normal. And I will be no newcomer when it comes to Earth Hour later this month.
I dont think UNITEN will last like 10 years from now. They need to change many things to stay in the industry, I mean the education industry. By the way, do you ever see a billboard of UNITEN anywhere?

Im thinking of closing all my options on other schools and straight away accept Iowa States.
If I do, I wont get to celebrate Eid in kampung, I only have a little time left for my family and I have to say goodbye to my friends here.

Being lucky sometimes can lead you to others situation that could not be describe by words.

Birthday cake is for kids.

First and foremost, a ton of thanks to all my friends all over the globe for the wishes either from facebook or by message. You guys are really rock.
And not to forget to Mark Zuckerberg, thanks dudeee.
Okay, that was for creating the so-called social network that can remind your friends of your birthday. And it did help remind my friends about my birthday. lol

And yes, I dont get any cakes for this 20th birthday.
I dont know if birthday cake is only for kids.
But I still longing for a cake.
Get your keys Aliff, and start to drive to the nearest Secret Recipee.
Zzzz.
Well at least my family celebrated it with a big lunch somewhere in Cyberjaya and not to forget even my lovely best friends celeberated my birthday with a big meal of Dominoz at the top of Bukit Ampang. Isn't that sweet? Well this is something far better than having a girlfriend.
And last but not least, allowance from PSD the day before my birthday. lol

I should collect more element of maturity throughout this 20th year of my life. Learn how actually to become a men, how to actually to act like a men.
Oh how time flies. I dont really believe this number, 20.

I dont really expected to be at this particular scenario, well what I mean is my current lifestyle and etc. I still remember ten years back, I dont even know what is university is. How lame is that?

Happy 20th Birthday Aliff.

Dream couldn't be wetter.

Have you guys ever dreamed about something terrible? Something sweet? Or perhaps someone?
Have you ever think about why such a dream came across to you? Why such a dream occurred to you?

Well perhaps in scientific way, dreaming simply an epiphenomenon that is the mental activity that occurs during REM sleep. REM is refers to rapid eye movement by the way.

But in my own thought, dream is somekind of message that convey by the brain to us unintentionally. Dont blame me if this is wrong because I'm no scientist. And for one more thought, I still keep thinking that dream happened due to the tiredness of our brain, working day and night.
This is not certainly true for all cases. Can brain actually convey a message to us when we arent in the wake-state? I dont think so. But who knows. Science is mysterious.
But at some point, my 2nd thought still can be debunkable because if let say your brain is tired due to some preposterous literature readings or doing some ridiculous calculations of current and voltage, your brain will eventually trying to rest his/her ass out and dream will never happen because your brain wont capable to do works in the tired state.
Well, in that case, I came across with my 3rd thought, possibly the last thought. Dream is the hypnosis of your own brain. Its like the brain wanted to play around with you, like playing hide and seek with his own owner.
Okay, lets put this whole thing to bed. Go google this topic.

Last night, I dreamt about someone and I dont really understand why she came out.
Afterall, that was a cute, sweet dream.
And not to forget, shes really came out cute in every dreams of mine.
By the way, I dont wet-dreaming last night. Dont worry. My dream wasnt bout it.

Ukulele makes me horny.

Its been a way too long since my last post. I dont even remember when the last time I posted something in this page. I dont blame anyone but myself. Im such a lazy bump, super-duper lazy. I dont know why I, but I seemed to stray to other web page when I opened this particular page. Well, now proudly I must say, Im writing for thee first time for this year. LOL.

First and foremost I should told u guys is Im not practicing any weird sex. I dont fuck Ukulele.
Okay, this is the case. I met my Ukulele back then like 5 months ago. Love at the first sight some of you might say. Since then, my Ukulele had been my closest-mate. I slept with her in many ways. Dont think dirty. She would be here for me everytime when I needed her. Even girlfriends are not compatible to compare with my Ukulele. Every single time Im longing for her. I always wanted to play her. To touch her body is the only drug I need.

Okay enough with the nonsense. After mastering the 'Hey Soul Sister' on my Ukulele, I was finally decided to take her to the public.
Last night, I was performing for talentime organized by the juniors. I mean my juniors. Thank God all went smooth except for a little tiny slack but who cares after all.
For the first time ever I went to perform with my so-called 'guru', Robin.
The song was sweet, nice and not to forget sexy in every single way.
Im proudly dedicated the song to the person, the person that I asked to perform with me for this song at the first place. But well, she said no. No biggie :)

Playing my Ukulele have been such an addiction to me. If you give a choice whether to choose Ukulele or girls, I MIGHT go for Ukulele. I MIGHT.

Done

Alhamdulillah, thank God.

Well, i just finished it. It was just a relief to click the button continue on the screen and realized that the test had already ended. Sweettt.

I must say i put an effort to this particular test since it is a very crucial test where i do must get, i mean i must or is should get the marks higher than 79. Well, the last time i taken the same test was only about 75. Nonetheless, i must pray hard while waiting the result to coming out inside this upcoming fortnight.

Do pray for me for a high score. Err, i mean high scores, because it consists of 4 parts.

Yuna Decorate

Finally, i managed to buy the new album from Yunaa. Yesssssss. Yeah maybe its lame to tell everybody bout it since the album was out like months ago.

But still, i feel satisfied with bargain. Despite the album costed me about 30 ringgit, i would still say thats not expensive.
Im not an avid fan of Yuna by the way. But listening to her music just simply relaxing.
I was like smiling to myself when i listen to the songs. The lyrics was pure fantastic and the soul of the songs were designed ultimately for teenagers like me.
Personally, im impressed with Yuna. With her style of writing the songs. With her style of composing the songs. Im not trying to be exaggerate here, im trying to tell the whole world what this cute girl has done.
At this particular moment, my favourite song of the album must be 'Gadis Semasa'.

Gonna listen to the album all day long.
Thanx Yuna for such a fantastic album.

Eid,The Food Galore and A Big Family

As u guys already know, about last 2 weeks, muslims are celebrating a festival that is actually celebrated to mark the end of the fasting month. And we called it Eid Al Fitr. Eid is also celebrated annually according to the muslims calender.
So basically, to me celebrating eid are all about meeting and get acquainted more with my family members, getting a money from uncles and aunties, playing fire crackers and of course enjoying the food.

Every year, my family and i will celebrate eid in our hometown, i mean my parents hometown. By the way, it is located in Johore. I couldnt help but to admit that living in so called kampung is far better than living here. Its more placid, more unruffled, and more irenic compare to living in Kajang. Those 3 words that i used previously were actually have the same meaning. Just showing off little bit of my not-so-good vocab.

I admit that the foods in those particular time of the eid were unavertable. Every single time i saw foods, i just felt hungry. And worst, even when i were already finish the lunch or dinner, my desire to eat keep increasing. Maybe its the food to blame. Well, after all can u resist the temptation of the good-taste food that rarely serve or found and only can be found in the eid period? Im certainly not gonna miss those chances to eat all the foods in this particular period.
People do say we eat to live, but sometimes it can be other way around. We live to eat.

The good thing of eid beside foods is meeting the other family members. To me, my cousin, my auntie or even my niece are all important in my life. They make me smile. They make me laugh. They actually remind me about the element of glee that should sparkle in every single family existed in this globe regardless of their family status. I did realize something about being a family, that we can actually live together happily. How i wish all my family members are living in the same house, sharing each others laughter and joy. Sometimes, i do ponder how gleeful earth can become if all people in this entire world can love each other like a big family. No wars and no men dies.

Eid actually bind us into a whole without a single notification from Him.
Eid is not all about foods.
Eid is about forgive.

Permeating Beneath Those Brain Cells

Well, im just little bit tired and tensed today. Excessive dosage of calculus is the main reason, beside fasting of coursee.
I suppose to continue my revision on calculus tonite but it seems my brain cells are all too tired to work.
And right now taking my break for a while, with full volume of My Chemical Romance's songs on my headset. Yeah babyyy ;)
MCRs song are the best things to hear when im tense. At least for me.
And i think this is the expeditious remedy to relieve stress and tense, at least for me again.

Let the all the words and voice from gerardd way permeating beneath my tired brain cells.
Calculus, calculus and calculus. How i wish u are a person, so that i can wallop u as hard as i can.
Ok. Still stress and tense.

United for The Champ

As everybody knows, i assume, all of the football fans out there would be thrill plus anxious to wait for this particular weekend. And starting this week, weekends wouldnt be same as 2 months ago. All the mamak stalls will be flooded by many as usual. I must admit that one of them is myself.

So prior to this weekend's game opener, fantasy premier league has to be the hot topic for the avid football fans, or at least the premier league fans.
Javier Hernandez, David Silva and Joe Cole; the three stars that looking to hit the points in this so called fantasy premier league.
Or maybe im just being exaggerate to put 'Chicharito' on the threesome.
Nevertheless, Hernandez have shown the world what actually 7m really means. Pls to those who supported Manchester City, dont be jealous with our bargain.
And as expexted, I predicted MANU will go to the top of the league and eventually win it.
Im not being bias here but, as an avid MANU supporter, they look promising in their last game, beating the ass out off the Blues. Blues for the Blues.
Last season, I predicted Chelsea to win the league, and unfortunately with one point adrift, they won it.

After all, we should support any team that we wish to support. As simple as that.
And for me, Manchester United will be forever supported by me, eventhough Barcelona play more beautiful, appetising and promising football.
But one thing to remember, beautiful football does not promise a closet full with trophies. One good example is Arsenal.

The ball is round.

All Over Again

Doing something all over again is not something new to me. The first attempt is like an experiment to me rather than the real attempt. I know its sound little bit wasting, but i'll make sure the 1st is worthy to take, by taking lessons from the first. This is twisting.

Since im not that meticulous person in doing something or anything, i'll try to give my best in doing certain work, trying my best not to repeat in or in other word doing it all over again. Maybe sometime things doesnt go your way, and we need to take the 2nd try. Or repeat it all over again.

To me, thats one of the part where i can define what its actually normality in this life.

Retaking TOEFL is one of the things i will do all over again. And it really cost me a lot, i mean a lot of penny. After a poor 1st attempt, this 2nd is do-or-die and i dont wanna actually pronounce the 3rd.

Wish me luck :)

Broga

I dont seems to be comfortable to write about my daily activities or something similar with it, but i think i should somehow write this thing. Its about how friendship can forged a very strong bond that can overcome any obstacles.

Do you guys know what is actually 'Broga'? Broga is a place where situated in between Selangor and Negeri Sembilan, and Broga got this so called Broga Hill. So, last weekend my friends, my primary schoolmate to be precise, were planning to witness sunrise together at the broga hill. Since we guys were really busy to get together, so this was a chance for us to get along with the old primary school pals and friends.

We arrived at broga about 6.30 in the morning and its consider late because we can see a lot of cars park nearby the broga hill entrance. And here comes the hard part, to hike the hill. It was about 1.7km from below, and most of them who were hiking the hill wearing shoes and their track. Unfortunately im not wearing any shoes. Plus, i've just got my overnight thingy before, got my lungs full with smoke of rose-mint flavored and worst, i was wearing levi's. Thats certainly was not a good sign to hike a 1.7km hill. Okay, after almost half an hour full with steep obstacles, all the hiking things finally going fine and I was practically the first one among us to get to the top. HAHA

The top view of it was the best view i've been ever encounter. I might sound exaggerate, but I dont talk crap this time. And 'the top view' I was saying before got double meaning on it. You guys should guess it. Luckily, i snapped some of the view. At the top of the hill, we had our breakfast together and had this chat-and-laugh thingy going on. At this very top of the hill I realized that even the biggest cash in this world could not buy a friendship. Friendship is priceless, friends are irreplaceable. Without them, i dont think i can hike this hill and without them i dont think i can have this happiness tattooed inside me.

Friends are the invisible angels that were sent down by God to us.
Like Emily Dickinson once said, "My friends are my estate".

A Not So New Beginning

Well, its not about the beginning of a story
and its certainly not about a beginning of a love story
or perhaps, its not about the beginning of something interesting
its all about the beginning of my new semester for degree in my university

I dont know why theres no excitement in my head when I started my new sem few days back
Its mostly because, I still practically live in my similar room. Not the exact house, but still in the same block where I was in my foundation time.
And, many of my friends are not here, some of them will be leaving to US soon, plus many of them are residing at the next door. Not exactly in their old house or block.

Classes already started. Guess what? I can barely feel theres an empty space inside the class. Now my class is not the same as the last time I entered it. Different is the right word.
Yeah, I already expecting this way before the sem started.
Some people said, changes occur mostly in your life. I say, changes change your life.

I miss the old time, where I can freely meet my friends below my room, without having to wear shirt.
I miss the time where many of my classmates playing 'chotaiti' together before class starts.
I miss my old classmates, even though they can be annoying sometime.
I miss my friends.
How I wish things could be the same today.
But, this is life. Deal with it.

Break

Im currently in a break period. Break from studying, break from goin to class, break from my usual activities and taking a break for many of things.
This is not healthy.
Yet, this is what I longing when Im in a period where exams are near and everyone is busy with books.
Eventually, I dont know what to do.
Stayin late to watch football
Playing Pro Evolution Soccer
Go lepaking with friends
Watch HBO
Feeding my cats
and the least is cooking
and sometime I did something girls should do,that the most of us would say
sweeping, mopping, wash clothes and etc.
and online-ing and not shopping.
I always read updates from friends, telling the whole facebook that they are bored, they got nothing to do, lifes bored, blablabla

NO
Life is not bored. Even, this sem break has make me to become nothing-to-do person
I'll never admitt that life is bored

Why dont they travel?
Last week I went to Ipoh where the last time I went there I was about 10. I dont really remmber it.

Ipoh is a nice town. Beautiful, to be precise.
Im lucky to have friends there. They showed me many parts of Ipoh.
And the part I love the most is this so called 'eco park'.
How I wish Kajang could have one. Its indescribable. You need to go there to define it.
Words cant define it in precise definition.
And I met my old friends from NS in Ipoh, what a small world.

Life is not boring if you could possibly use the time wisely and properly
And guys, pls dont update your facebook with 'lifes bored'
live your life to the fullest, correct my word if its wrong
:)

With Love.

Its been a while since my last post. I've been quite busy plus I have nothing to write about.

So, today I feel like writing a post, mainly about yesterday activities.
Yesterday I went to Sabak Bernam. I mean we, all my muslim friends, for community service program with the orphans there.

It was a very long ride before we finally arrived at the orphanage. We've been greeted by a warm smile of the orphans there. And what I actually realized of the orphans was they were happy to see us. They seem to enjoy every activities we held and participate it well. Not to forget to all my fellow friends, they all did a very fine job in havocing in and out of this program.

Right until the end of the day, I realized a few things.
I got to admit that I was very touched to see them, smiling, laughing and getting excited.
I cannot imagine how could I survived in this world without my parent.
I don't have the guts to live my life without my beloved parent.
I should be more grateful to have both my parent here, always be on my side.
Friends are joyful and sometime annoying in a manner way
I should love all my friends, I mean love them more because I already love them
Life can be beautiful without a lot of money
And life is beautiful if we could somehow fill it with lots of love.
:)

Aku, Mereka dan Futsal

Mereka itu adalah rakan rakan ku
Dan aku adalah diri ku
Mereka dan Aku tak mungkin boleh dipisahkan
Jalinan persahabatan yg konkrit

perasaan menjangkaui biasa
bau kemenangan yg ssh dilupakan
kekalahan pula diterima dengan senyuman
